Welsh Hot Tubs is a family run business located on the outskirts of Aberystwyth and we provide our services throughout Wales. Our professional experienced team are based at one of Wales’ largest showrooms.

Welsh Hot Tubs are a leading and well-established hot tub, swim spa, Endless Pool, sauna and ice bath dealer in mid Wales, supplying customers across most of Wales and the borders. As part of a new restructure and direction of the business, this is an exciting time to be joining the team!

Aim of the Role

The successful candidate will install, service, repair, maintain and carry out small works, remedials and fault-finding as well as commissioning and installing Hot Tubs, Swim Spas, saunas and Endless Pools to Welsh Hot Tubs customers throughout Wales.

Main Responsibilities

• Undertake training to install, service and repair Hot Tubs, Swim Spas, Saunas and Endless Pools
• Assist with the building of Endless Pools and Saunas
• Develop a knowledge of the Hot Tubs, Swim Spas, Saunas and any other services and products that Welsh Hot Tubs deliver
• Learn water chemical balancing, and be prepared to undertake training on various chemicals
• Develop knowledge on electrical work, and undertake appropriate training to gain relevant certification
• Attend training on safe manual handling and other relevant appropriate courses
• Maintain high standards for quality, customer service, safety, hygiene and best working practices
• Support the Service Manager with a variety of scheduled tasks
• Provide accurate reports of work carried out for invoicing purposes
• Ensure all paperwork is completed and recorded to be submitted in a timely manner
• Work as part of the Welsh Hot Tubs team developing expertise in Hot Tubs, Swim Spas, Saunas and Endless Pools
• Ensure Welsh Hot Tubs policies are adhered to in the delivery of the services provided
• Attend scheduled team meetings

• Accept other reasonable duties and responsibilities as required
• Represent Welsh Hot Tubs as required

Skills and Experience

Essential

• Experience in a relevant field – eg carpentry, plumbing, electrical or prior experience working with pools, hot tubs or saunas
• Confidence using power tools
• Self-motivated, enthusiastic and hard-working
• Excellent communication skills
• Experience of working in a customer service environment
• Clean driving licence

Desirable

• Oral and written bilingual (Welsh/English) communication skills
• Knowledge of Hot Tubs, Swim Spas, Endless Pools
• Knowledge of Electrical Work
• Knowledge of Water Chemical Balancing
• Experience of operating a forklift
• B & E towing qualification
